    1 lb. ground beef
    1 cup chopped onion
    1 clove garlic, chopped
    1 28 oz can diced tomatoes (or 4 medium tomatoes, chopped
    2 cups fresh of frozen corn
    2 cups water
    1 Tbsp dried parsley (or 3 Tbsp minced fresh parsley
    2 tsp dried basil (or 2 Tbsp minced fresh basil)
    2 tsp dried thyme (or 2 Tbsp minced fresh thyme
    1/2 tsp dried rosemary (or 1 1/2 tsp minced fresh rosemary)
    1 tsp salt
    1/2 tsp pepper

In a 10" Dutch oven, cook the ground beef, onion and garlic over medium heat until the meat is no longer pink, then drain it. Do not chop the meat into small pieces - leave it fairly chunky.

Add the remaining ingredients and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer uncovered for 30 minutes. Serves 5.
