Hi,

Im 24 and I have been in a youth organisation since I was 6. Alwasy liked fire and cooking. A few years ago I got my first Dutch oven from my friends. I enjoyed it very much but sadly enough I moved to an apartment without any outdoors area. But I still try to have fun.

Greetings,

Dries

Hello Dries and welcome. It's not the same but you can use your DO inside the kitchen oven. An easy way to work out baking and roasting recipes. Thumbs Up

A warm welcome from sunny Mesa, AZ. Pull up a chair and join the conversation, lots of great people with lots of great information just waiting to be shared. And we are always looking forward to hearing about others adventures.

Dries, Welcome from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania! Belgium has some of the best beer and ale in the world.

If your Dutch oven has legs, you can stack a couple of grates from your gas cook-top burners on your oven rack and put your Dutch oven on top of the grates, just be careful to slide the oven rack out slowly so the stack of grates with Dutch oven on top doesn't tip over. That will allow you to practice in your kitchen until you get outside.
