Sad Our Pony Rider??!?! Oh no. Wow. Prayers go out to his family and friends, including all of us who knew him from here. Sad day, but i'm sure they're rejoicing up high that they finally get some good camp food, complements of Pony Rider. He will be missed. Sad

Just a question for any Admin here. Any thought on if we can have a sticky somewhere that we can retire their avatars proper and have a place to remember the ones among our group here that have passed on. I've seen it on other forums, and just because most of us have never met in person, doesn't mean they aren't a part of our lives even in some small way.

I've never met Pony, but feel like I lost a good friend. Rest in Peace Pony.

Sad

Thanks for the info CWallyD.

Why do the good ones go too soon. He was a loved part of our cast iron family and will be missed. Even tho we never meet our friends on Campcook, you know their character and personality by their posts. We pray for the comfort of his family. I know he's cooking in a cast iron oven right now for the Lord and his angels, and they like it. Ponyrider , you will be missed.
Great idea Aggroman on retiring the Avatars.
Thank you for letting us know Wally.

He was one of the first people to jump in and say hi to me and offer some good friendly advice after I joined the forum, and was one of the people I was most looking forward to meeting in person at next year's NDOG in Bryce. --a really great class A guy...

Hope to see you on the trail Ponyrider. Sad

The first time I met him was before I joined this forum. I purchased a cc 32" DO table from him. Then after I joined this forum I purchase a dutch oven from him.

Then he said that they were doing DO classes at the General Army Navy store in Taylorsville. I met CwallyD, Coleen Sloan, Vicky.

Bunch of very nice people. I will miss, a great friend.

My heart goes out for his wife Audrey, and his Daughter. And his Family and Close friends.

Welcome from the trails of Utah. come on into camp the fire is warm and the coffee is hot, so step on down and sit for a spell, fill free to join in when you are ready.

From Pony Rider's Say Howdy,

Was just passing by and seen the smoke from your fire and was wondering if the coffee was hot, and was able to come into your camp and sit awhile.

He's found another campfire to sit around, RIP Pony
