    4 medium tomatillos
    1/2 cup chopped cilantro
1 cup chopped green onion (tops)
    3 to 5 Serrano peppers
    1 tsp salt
    3 cloves garlic, chopped

Put all the ingredients in a food processor and blend until smooth. Refrigerate when not using the salsa.

Haven't made salsa verde in forever. May have to try this one out. How much does that yield? Thanks.

This makes about 12 ounces of salsa. I used an old 24 oz. Herdez Salsa Verde jar to store the results. :Smile 1:

I had some of this on my breakfast burrito this morning and it is pretty good. With 5 Serrano peppers, it has quite a bite, so be careful. Serranos are a bit hotter than Jalapeņos.
