I make pickled tomatos and pickalily(green tomatos, onions and peppers). For both I use a recipe for Bread and Butler pickles, I just love the flavor. This year I'm been on a low carb diet(39 lbs. since Jan 2nd) and I want to make my canned goods with a sweetner other than sugar, because of the high carbs. Has anyone used artificial sweetners for canning. I know alot of people don't care for them, but I won't be eating lots, and I don't want to throw my weight loss off. Thanks for any advice.

Toby2win would be the one to talk with. She knows sugar free and has written a sugar free DO cookbook. Send her a PM if she doesn't chime in this thread.
