I am working on a new website for the new "Dutch Oven South" Group (and charter), you can check it out at:
http://www.dutchovensouth.com
there is a forum section on there as well and you are free to join in at any time. Recipes are coming, just taking time to get them into order and upload them.

Thanks Joanne,
I'm hoping there will be a few people to help get things started with it, not trying to take anything away from this site, it's awesome and I really enjoy being on here, just wanted to see if I could draw more southerners into the mix, Frightened and spread the cast iron love!

There's plenty to go around! The more cast iron lovers in the world the better it is for all of us.

Hi, Everyone.

I want to have a DOG somewhere near or close to Charlotte.

I've been searching for awhile now, with next to no bites.

Dutch Oven South! We need to hook up.

Dan

I've been thinking about a trip to NC sometime in the next 2-3 months. A DOG just might dovetail nicely with the trip. I'll be interested in how the planning goes.

Hey Dan, we definitely need to get a DOG going sometime in the near future, it's only bout 100 miles between us and I'm sure we can find somewhere to hold it that will work for most everyone in the area. I kind of have a hard time getting things together though, I drive a truck and don't have alot of time at home to work on it. I'm going to be in Cherokee,NC June 3rd through 7th camping with some friends and putting together some new recipes. He is new to DO cooking so I'll have to wear the teachers hat while we are there, lol but hope to have fun doing it, gonna post pics here and on my site when we get back.

Now the site is running again, just for those who work on websites, be careful who you choose to handle your servers, cheaper isn't always good, you get what you pay for!!!
