We tried this recipe last night and it was delicious! Thumbs Up Thumbs Up

www.rachaelrayshow.com/food/recipes/autumn-beef-stew-apple-onion-and-roasted-garlic/print/

A very pleasant variation of classic stews that was good on a winter night. The only tweaking of the recipe I did was to deglaze the DO with 1/2 cup red wine after browning the meat.

Gold Tooth Smile: I KNOW it will be good. Cheese, butter, BACON, that's all it took for me.
D.O.G. tomorrow in Fortuna @ Rohner Park. Eating begins around 1 p.m.
Come as you are!

Life is uncertain....eat dessert first....preferably one cooked in a Dutch Oven.

Joannie: How dare you guys have a dog when the 49ers are palying a playoff game...LOL. We'd try to come, but don't think I can drive the 175 miles by 1.

Forgot to mention that when we made this we used just plain old apple cider and a couple of Granny Smith apples. I like some of Rachael Ray's recipes, but sometimes some of her ingredients are a little "trendy".
