My wifey used to make soap. She hasn't made any in a long time. I need to get her fired up about it again.

I've never made any but it sounds like an interesting hobby. (like I need ANOTHER hobby to keep me busy)

Right now selling soap is kinda tough. People are holding on to their loose change. I sell my soaps for $4.00 a bar. It's fabulous for your skin, but oils prices are off the charts.

It is not hard to make it. I would be happy to do a demo for everyone if we can find a place to get together. It's really hard to teach overn the internet. Although many sites do.

I have not made it from hardwood ash. I could if someone wants to make me the ash barrel draining system.

I encourage you to try if there is someone close who can show you what (TRACE) looks like.

We were making and selling it, but our schedules got in the way. I was amazed how one show would be lights out and another you couldn't give it away. I ended up making it and my wife was the marketer. I enjoyed trying different fragrances and playing with color. Got into bath bombs and salts also. It was fun and the quality was excellent.
